Wayne Graham 1940-2025
EAST PALESTINE — Wayne Graham, 85, went to be with his Lord on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025.
Wayne was born July 5, 1940, in New Brighton, the son of the late Howard and Esther Taylor Graham.
Wayne graduated from Beaver Falls High School in 1958. He worked for Adamson Tank Co. from 1961 to 1969. He then began his truck driving career at Ralph Veon until 1971. He joined J. Miller Trucking, where he worked until 1975. Wayne then went on to work for Ted Mesmer Jr. Trucking from 1975 until his retirement in 2006.
Wayne joined the Masonic Lodge in 1966 and earned his 50-year pin in 2016.
Wayne loved playing golf almost everyday at East Palestine Country Club, where he was a member and served as president from 2013 to 2018.
He was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in East Palestine, then moved his membership to Good Hope Lutheran in North Lima.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 63 years, Daralee Norman Graham; two daughters, Dawnalee (Jim) McCauley of East Palestine and Cindy Sauerwein of North Lima; ex-son-in-law, Larry Sauerwein; three grandchildren, Jimmy (Stacy) McCauley of Elmira, New York, Leann (Dave) Wild of Anderson, California, and Spike (Chelsie) Sauerwein of North Lima; five great-grandchildren, Avery and Colton McCauley of Elmira, New York, Piper and Tessa Sauerwein of North Lima, and Ellie Wild of Anderson, California; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, as well as two brothers, Carl and Donald Graham.
Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine, with Pastor Ralph Edwards officiating.
The family will receive friends 5 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
A private burial will be held Tuesday at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.
