Phil DeMarco 1962-2025

Phil was born Oct. 7, 1962, in Youngstown, a son of Felice (Phil) and Santina C. Ciamacco DeMarco, who both came from Italy.

He lived in the area his whole life, was a Struthers business owner and Struthers firefighter, corrections officer for the State of Ohio prison system and his current job was safety service manager at WRTA. He was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish-St. Nicholas Church and a member of Knights of Columbus 4471 of Struthers.

Phil leaves his mother, Santina of Struthers; his fiancee, Marie Utsinger; one son, Phillip M. (Zaundi) DeMarco of Tucson, Arizona; two brothers, Frank M. DeMarco of Struthers and Dr. Michael F. DeMarco of New Orleans, Louisiana; one sister, Rosa Marie (Greg) Richley of Poland; and two grandchildren, Asher and Nadalynn DeMarco.

Phil was preceded in death by his father, Felice.

A prayer service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, at the Clemente Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Christ Our Savior Parish-St. Nicholas Church, both in Struthers.

Friends may call from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
