Patricia Lynn Elmo 1945-2025

YOUNGSTOWN — Patricia Lynn Elmo passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, at Briarfield Manor.

Patty was born in Riverside, California, on June 15, 1945, daughter of the late Hubert and Mary Kathryn Mahoney Eagan, and was a lifelong Youngstown resident. Patty graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School in 1963. Soon after, she worked at Fitzsimmons Steel. Patty worked for many years at Dr. Lloyd’s office as a medical receptionist. After leaving the doctor’s office, she then went to work at answerLINK Ohio until her retirement.

Back in her day, Patty enjoyed the card clubs she belonged to and her Thursday night bowling nights with her friends. Patty enjoyed celebrating her favorite holiday, St. Patrick’s Day, and she always enjoyed having a good time with friends and family.

Left to cherish Patty’s memory are her two sons, Lance Elmo, fiancee, Lori, and her children, Tyler and Ava of Pflugerville, Texas, and Craig Elmo of Youngstown.

Patty also leaves her sisters, Shelly Adsit of Boardman and Pam (Vern) Sebbio of Canfield, and her sister-in-law, Kathy Eagan of Youngstown. Patty also leaves her nephews, Brett (Amber) and Kyle (Elizabeth) Sebbio; niece, Kerrie (Chris) Rybicki; and great-nieces and great-nephew, Stella, Maddie, Addison and Jack.

Along with her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Eagan, and her brother-in-law, Jim Adsit.

Per Patty’s wishes, there will be no service.

The family would like to thank everybody at Briarfield Manor and Akeeso Health Care for the kindness, love and care that they gave Patty.

Her family requests material tributes can be made in Patty’s memory to Briarfield Manor, 461 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown, OH 44515.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
