Patricia Campana 1955-2025
BOARDMAN — Patricia Campana, 70, entered eternal rest on Monday, Dec. 22, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital.
She was born on Dec. 5, 1955, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Patrick and Beverly Realty Viglio.
Over the years, Patricia wore many hats, from proudly working at the Fonderlac Country Club to working in insurance, but the job she cherished most was being a homemaker and caretaker for her husband and son for the majority of her life.
She was strong and unwavering, never hesitant to speak her truth and always grounded in integrity. Her support was constant and wholehearted, and her love showed in the way she put others first, without a second thought. Genuine and warm, she had a wonderful sense of humor that made people feel at ease and truly seen.
Her generosity defined her. She would go out of her way to help anyone who needed it, often giving more than she should because that was simply who she was. She was especially devoted to causes that protected children and animals, supporting organizations like the ASPCA, Friends of Fido and the Rescue Mission. At home, her care was felt through the things she made and shared — stuffed peppers, prepared with love, and crocheted creations that reflected the same patience and kindness she showed to everyone in her life.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Marc (Jeni Dowst) Viglio; grandchild, Blanton Viglio; her sister, Gayle (Albert) Melia; niece, Ashley (Martin) Zenobi; nephew, James Huff; great-nieces and great-nephew, Gabriella, Dominic and Mia; and her canine companion, Larry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Campana.
Per Patricia’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland.
