Nora M. Larson 1931-2025

Nora Sheridan Larson was born March 4, 1931, in Youngstown. Nora was the beloved wife of 62 years to David A. Larson, who passed away in 2015.

Nora, was the daughter of the late Robert Francis and Lucille McBride Sheridan, and mother to David Larson Jr. (Mary Farragher), Linda Larson (Matthew) Gawne, Michael (Judy) Larson and Laura Larson (Thomas) Stautberg. Cherished grandmother of Bridget, Andrew, Kelly, Michael, Jack, Brodie, Riley, Katherine and William. Nora was blessed with six great grandchildren, Brooks, Quinn, Sloane (Bridget and Cole Braham) Graham, Warren (Michael and Katie Gawne) and Tucker (Andrew and Patricia Larson). Nora was the dear sister of Mary Theresa (P.E.) Burrows, Robert (Rita) Sheridan, John (Mary) Sheridan and Michael (Judy) Sheridan; fond aunt, great-aunt and friend of many.

Nora was a proud graduate of Ursuline High School, Class of 1950.

Nora was an active member of St. Michael Parish and Canfield boosters while raising her family in Canfield. After a few moves took her to Anderson, South Carolina, Baltimore, Maryland, and South Bend, Indiana, she retired to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 7345 Westview Drive, Boardman, by her great-nephew, the Very Rev. John Sheridan.

Nora will later be laid to rest in St. Francis by the Sea Columbarium on Hilton Head Island.
