Mildred Porter 1933-2025
NEW MIDDLETOWN — Mildred Porter, 92, passed away on Wednesday evening, Dec. 10, 2025, at Masternick Memorial Nursing Home in New Middletown. She was a former resident of Poland.
Born on March 21, 1933, in Youngstown, Mildred was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Takacz Nagy.
She married Frank Porter Jr. in February 1958, and they shared 32 years of marriage before his passing.
Mildred was a graduate of North High School and attended the former Youngstown College.
For many years, she worked as a secretary for a law firm in Youngstown.
A member of St. Luke Parish in Boardman, Mildred often volunteered at various church events.
She is survived by her son, Frank Porter and his wife, Joye of Poland; daughter, Jackie Marsico and her husband, David of Poland; and four grandchildren, Frank Porter IV, Katie Porter, Emily Marsico and Megan Smullen.
Along with her parents and husband, Mildred was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Nagy; son, Joseph Porter; and grandson, Michael Porter.
Private services were held for the family.

Arrangements were entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave., Boardman.
