Judith J. Forrest 1933-2025

She was born Dec. 21, 1933, in Corry, Pa., a daughter of Frank and Margaret Bender.

Judy married Jack Foster in 1955 and moved to Youngstown in 1958. They were married for 10 years and had four children, Karen, Kathleen and Susan (Megan), and one son, Kevin, who sadly passed away earlier this year.

She later married Robert Forrest and had one child, Lisa. Additionally, there were seven stepchildren. Judy and Bob were married for 42 years until his death in 2010.

Judy attended YSU, earning her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in social work. She worked in this field until her retirement in 1998.

Judy had many crafting hobbies that kept her busy. She was an excellent seamstress. She was also actively involved with the Youngstown Area Intergroup, attending meetings and conferences for over 45 years.

She leaves behind her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many very special friends, Kim, Linda, Helen and so many more.

A memorial service will be celebrated 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 4303 Mahoning Ave.
