Joseph D. Nestasie 1950-2025

He was born March 4, 1950, to Joseph and Jean Ague Nestasie in Youngstown.

Joseph worked as a millwright for Sharon Steel. He was a member of the Mahoning Sportsman’s Club, enjoyed hunting, loved riding his motorcycle and was involved in politics for many years. But most of all, he loved his family.

Joseph is survived by his sons, John Nestasie, Joey Nestasie and Anthony Nestasie; brothers, James Nestasie, Robert Nestasie and Thomas Nestasie; and sister, Donna Annichini.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley (Suzie).

Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, at Terry Cunningham Funeral Home, 203 Oak St., Bessemer, Pa. A funeral service will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, following visitation at the funeral home.
