Elaine D. Harris 1947-2025

Born Oct. 4, 1947, in Youngstown, she was the daughter of Richard Harris Sr. and Odessa Paige.

A graduate of South High School, she was employed by General Motors Packard Electric Division as a laborer, retiring after 30 years of service.

Elaine enjoyed gardening, traveling and spending time with family and friends, and she had a special love for cooking.

Elaine Diane leaves to cherish her memory, her sister, Valencia V. (Brian) Marrow of Youngstown; a brother, Richard H. Harris Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia; and a granddaughter, Shayla Harris of Rock Hill, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; a son, Anthony Harris Sr.; and a grandson, Anthony “AJ” Harris Jr.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025, with viewing at 9 a.m., at Rising Star Baptist Church, 2943 Wardle Ave., Youngstown, OH 44505.

Interment will be in Tod Homestead Cemetery.
