Trudy E. Mytinger 1926-2025
NORTH JACKSON – Trudy E. Mytinger, 99, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, at Antonine Village.
Born March 14, 1926, in Youngstown, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Milanowski Janis.
A 1944 honors graduate of South High School, Trudy went on to further her education at Youngstown College.
Throughout her career, she worked as a receptionist and typist at Carbon Limestone, served as report department supervisor at Hill, Barth & King CPAs for 18 years, and later as corporate secretary at Dem Corporation.
Trudy is survived by her two daughters, Joni D. Wilflin (Matthew Fekete) and Vicki J. (Anthony) Ricci.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis, her parents, and her brother, Andrew R. Janis.
Trudy lived a full and active life. She loved roller skating, ice skating, playing tennis and dancing. Above all, she cherished spending time with her daughters and her many dear friends.
Family and friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, at Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St., Boardman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, at St. Michael Church, 300 N. Broad St., Canfield, with Fr. John-Michael Lavelle officiating. A reception will follow at Rachel’s Restaurant, 54 Westchester Drive, Austintown.
Trudy will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the sisters and caregivers at Antonine Village for their exceptional care and compassion, and to Patriot Hospice for their loving end-of-life care.
