Judi Joseph 1945-2025

She was the daughter of the late Jim and Martha Welsh of Sharon, Pa.; the beloved sister of Ken (Debby) Welsh; and a dear aunt to Katie and David.

She lit up the lives of everyone she met, engaging others with genuine empathy and love of connection.

She was devoted to her children, Greg (Kathy Ann), Gary (Elizabeth) and Mindy (Jamie); and to her six grandchildren, Karalyn, Nathan, Katelyn, Evan, Emerson and Lauren.

She gave with an open heart, offering love, strength and quiet wisdom that served as a compass for her family and friends through life’s many adventures. In her presence, they found encouragement, comfort, healing and the assurance that they were never alone.

She also treasured her dearest friend, Judy White, whose friendship was a blessing for more than 40 years.

Her life was marked by warmth, resilience and a generosity of spirit. She will be remembered for her kindness and laughter, her curiosity and creativity, and the way she gave so fully of herself to those she loved. She delighted in learning and traveling, embracing the wonder and gifts of each new experience.

At her request, no memorial service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity of Youngstown, Second Harvest Food Bank or any charity meaningful to you.

Her family and friends will honor her privately in the spirit of love, strength and wisdom she shared throughout her life.
