Elaine Masterson 1963-2025

Elaine was born Feb 18, 1963, in Youngstown, the daughter of Andrew J. and Elizabeth A. Buxton Barrett.

Elaine loved spending time with family and friends.

Elaine leaves to cherish her memories, three wonderful children, Elaine (Shawn) West of New Middletown, Vincent DiGiacomo of Youngstown and Amber (Tim) Barnes of Kentucky; five grandchildren, Madison, Ryan (Maria), Brock and Emma West, and Timothy Barnes; a brother, Andrew (Kristy) Barrett; five sisters, Theresa (Paul) Spiese, Tina (Larry) Beck, Cathy (Shawn) Bruderly, Marty (Eddie) Sigurani and Elizabeth “Bee” (Mark) Morena; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; cousins; and special lifelong friends who were also family. She will be fondly remembered by her cousin, Gina, with whom she shared a special bond.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Masterson, and their dog, Maggie.

Family and friends may call 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, at Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave., Boardman, followed by a noon funeral service.
