Douglas H. Huebner 1942-2025

Born Oct. 8, 1942, in Youngstown, he was the son of the late Howard and Mildred Huebner.

Doug was a proud graduate of South High School and went on to earn his master’s degree from Youngstown State University.

He served honorably in the United States Air Force before beginning a long career as an accountant with ALCAN.

Doug enjoyed the simple things in life — relaxing at home or spending time with friends at the Eagles or Saxon Club.

He is survived by his son, Scot (Erica) Huebner of Boardman; three grandchildren, Ashley, Arielle and Dominic; as well as two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Huebner.

Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512.

Doug will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
