Debra A. Hernandez 1955-2025
AUSTINTOWN — Debra “Debby” Ann Miller Hernandez, formerly of Bakersfield, California, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Debby will be remembered for her unwavering love of Jesus Christ and the joy she shared through her faith. She had a radiant spirit — lighting up every space she entered with her laughter, kindness and warmth.
She enjoyed fishing, wine tasting with friends, spending time with her dog, and participating in many social gatherings with family and loved ones. Debby was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend whose presence brought warmth and laughter to every room she entered.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Clyde Hernandez; her loving daughter, Hillary (Dennis) Kitts; and her stepson, Stephen (Samantha) Hernandez. She was a proud grandmother to Collin Kitts, Allison Kitts, Megan Kitts and Mathew Hernandez, and a cherished great-grandmother to two great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy.
Debby is also survived by her sister, Karen (Tom) Hunsberger, and her brother, Clarence Miller II; nieces, Ashley (Dan) Frank and Amber (Shane) Headley; nephews, Clarence Miller III and Deklin Miller; and many beloved great-nephews, cousins and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence “Pete” and Patricia “Pat” Miller, whom she deeply cherished.
Debby’s legacy of love, faith and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, at Greenford Christian Church, 150 Victoria Road, Austintown, OH 44515. Friends and family may call 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with a brief service to follow.
