POLAND -- Barbara A. Ferreri went to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, at the age of 82.
Barbara was born May 4, 1943, in Pittsburgh, Pa., a daughter of the late Carol D. and Jane Ramsy Kaufman.
Barbara dedicated her life to caring for others, working in housekeeping at a local nursing home in Poland, where her compassion and kindness made a lasting impact on the residents and staff alike.
In her leisure time, Barbara found joy in life's simple pleasures. She was an avid card player, a passionate puzzle enthusiast and a devoted fan of "The Lone Ranger." Above all, she cherished the moments spent with her beloved family and her beloved dogs, who brought her immeasurable joy.
Barbara leaves behind her loving son, Mark Ferreri of Poland; and seven grandchildren, especially Michael Ferreri, Taylor Brenner and Tayliann Ferreri; and great-granddaughter, Tay'mon, and one on the way.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Ferreri, of 40 years, who passed away June 22, 2013; a brother, Brett Kaufman; and two grandsons.
Family and friends may pay their respects 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel.
