Alma M. Knupp 1924-2025
LIBERTY — Alma M. Knupp, 101, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, at Shepherd of the Valley-Liberty.
Alma was born June 11, 1924, in Karns City, Pa., a daughter of Glen and Alice McKinney Ward.
She was a secretary at a refinery in Karns City, and later, a cafeteria worker for the Liberty schools, retiring in 1987.
Alma enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.
She was a member of Churchill United Methodist Church since 1959, and enjoyed spending time with her church family.
Her husband, Ralph D. Knupp, whom she married Aug. 5, 1950, passed away June 1, 1987.
Alma will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family: her son, Roger G. (Beth) Knupp of Coraopolis, Pa.; five grandchildren, Lynn (John), Daniel (Melissa), Jennifer (Mitch), Amy (Brad) and Sarah (Erhan); and nine great-grandchildren.
She also leaves her sister, Carma Crisman of Texas.
Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; daughter, Kay L. Andrews; and son, Mark D. Knupp.
Services will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, at Churchill United Methodist Church, with calling hours 1 to 3 p.m.
Alma will be laid to rest in Hubbard Union Cemetery.
