Shake Simonoff 1941-2025
BOARDMAN — Shake Simonoff, 84, passed away peacefully, Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025, at her home, surrounded by family.
Born in Syria, Shake immigrated to the United States 54 years ago and was a resident of Boardman for 46 years.
She was well known by all who knew her for her sense of humor, charm and exceptional cooking. Dinner time was a common time for visitors at the house.
Shake was preceded in death by her husband, Leon, 14 years ago.
She is survived by her two children, three sisters and two grandchildren.
Her departure leaves a void in all our hearts and she will be greatly missed.
A service will be held 10 a.m. Nov. 1 at St. Michael Church in Campbell.
