Lance F. Dudeck 1959-2025
HUBBARD — Lance F. Dudeck, 66, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, at the Hospice House in Poland.
Lance was born Jan. 27, 1959, in Butler, Pa., a son of Carl R. Sr. and Frances E. Wentzel Dudeck.
He was a 1977 graduate of Butler Senior High School and later received his bachelor’s degree from Edinboro University.
Lance was a data systems manager at Trumbull County Children’s Services, retiring in September 2025.
Lance will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his family, his wife, the former Pamela J. Runkle, whom he married Dec. 28, 1985; his daughter, Lauren (Andrew) Smith of Cortland; his son, Phillip (Katlyn) Dudeck of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; a grandson, Owen Smith; and his mother, Frances E. Dudeck of Butler, Pa.
He also leaves his siblings, Carl Dudeck Jr. of Harrisburg, Pa., Keith (Pamela) Dudeck of Ruffsdale, Pa. and Leatha (Paul) Baker of Evans City, Pa.
Lance’s father preceded him in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in Vienna, with the Rev. Steven Agostino officiating.
Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, and prior to the Mass, from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at Kyle Funeral Homes, Vienna Chapel, 4471 Warren Sharon Road, Vienna, OH 44473.
Lance will be laid to rest in St. Michaels Cemetery, Greenville, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, 4453 Warren Sharon Road, Vienna, OH 44473; or Glioblastoma Foundation, P.O. Box 62066, Durham, NC 27715.
