Kristine Bole 1951-2025
POLAND — Kristine Mary Bole, 74, passed away Thursday. Oct. 16, 2025, with her family and loved ones at home in Poland.
Kristine was born in Youngstown, in 1951, to Roy and Mary Bresser Bloomberg.
She attended Struthers High School and graduated from Youngstown State University in 1972.
William “Bill” and Kristine “Kris” married Sept. 28, 1974.
In 1977, her uncle, Bob Bloomberg, along with her father and husband, built the house she always considered home, where she raised her family with strength, joy and kindness in Poland.
Kris’ career spanned through a few hometown institutions including Youngstown Sheet and Tube, DeBartolo Corporation and St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, where she retired.
Kris cherished family events, especially her annual Christmas Bingo party, hosted on Thanksgiving. Summer and family vacations to Puerto Rico; New Smyrna Beach, Florida; Lake Tahoe; Ocean City; Niagara Falls; and Breckinridge, Colorado, were special memories to her.
Kris enjoyed trips with Bill to casinos near and far, always supporting and visiting her dear children and grandchildren around the country, catching up with friends at the gym and The Wednesday Dinner Group.
At the end of her day, she loved relaxing with her husband — laughing and watching her favorite shows from the best seat in the house: her rocker.
Kris was famous for her pizzelles, M&M and sugar cookies (batches and batches), Andy’s Apple Pie, lasagna, chicken “stuff,” and enjoying a proper cuddle and English muffin with Oscar — the list goes on.
Kris is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Bill; three sons, Tim (Kate), Dan and Mike (Ryan); her loving sisters, Kathy (Gary) and Karen (Joe); darling grandchildren, Andy and Oscar; as well as many close nieces, nephews, cousins and granddoggies.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025, at the funeral home.
Family and friends are encouraged to offer prayers for the family and support by visiting the Book of Memories at www.rossifunerals.com.
