Kenneth J. Beraduce 1955-2025

Born May 26, 1955, in Youngstown, Ken was the son of the late James and Jean Miely Beraduce.

He grew up in Boardman and graduated from Youngstown State University in 1977, going on to pursue a long and successful career in information technology.

Ken believed deeply in family, community and the power of education. He was a member of the Boardman Local Schools Board of Education. He was also a lifelong woodworker who shared his expertise with friends and family, especially his two daughters. In addition, he taught adult shop class at Boardman High School and night classes at YSU. When not working or spending time with his family, he liked to play golf, and he enjoyed rooting for the Ohio State football team.

Ken is survived by his wife, Barbara Olson Beraduce; his daughter, Betsy (Brian) Buckley; his sister, Donna (Patrick) Rooney; and his grandchildren, Audrey Hassey, James Hassey and Evan Buckley.

In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his daughter, Janet (Matthew) Hassey.

Family and friends may call 10 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St., Boardman.

There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Oliver Beans officiating, with a luncheon immediately to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that material tributes take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society, cancer.org/donate, or P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
