Jerry L. Squiric 1945-2025

MINERAL RIDGE – Jerry L. “Jeri” Squiric, 79, passed away peacefully, Sunday morning, Oct. 5, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic.
Born in Cambridge, Jeri was the daughter of the late Wayne and Ann Nicholas Hafely.
She was a 1964 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School, where she was proudly crowned homecoming queen in 1963.
Jeri will be remembered for her love of family and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures. She delighted in baking Christmas cookies to share with family, friends and neighbors, and she cherished family dinners and get-togethers. Jeri especially enjoyed family vacations and never missed a chance to cheer on her grandsons at their sporting events. She loved playing board games, cards and working on puzzles – always making time for fun and laughter with loved ones.
Jeri was married to the love of her life, Ronald Squiric, on Sept. 16, 1965. He preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 2022.
She is survived by her children, Ron (Jennifer) Squiric, Tracy Jackson and Thomas (Tami) Squiric; and by her six beloved grandsons, Cody, Taylor, Troy, Michael (Samantha) Aaron and Corey. Jeri also leaves behind her sister, Barbara Weaver, and two brothers, Gary Hafely and Jeff Hafely.
In addition to her parents and husband, Jeri was preceded in death by two sisters, JoAnn Hafely and Sandy Hafely; and two brothers, Robert Hafely and Butch Hafely.
Family and friends may call 11 to 11:45 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, at Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel, followed by a funeral service at noon.
