Gloria J. Fedor 1940-2025
CANFIELD — Gloria Jean Guerrieri Fedor, 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, at St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center in Columbiana.
Gloria was born June 19, 1940, in Youngstown, a daughter of Christie and Theresa Naples Guerrieri.
She graduated from East High School in 1958 and wed John Fedor on July 22, 1961, at St. Elizabeth Church in Campbell. Together, John and Gloria shared 64 years of marriage, creating a family life filled with love and happiness.
Throughout her life, Gloria held various jobs, including owner / operator of Isaly’s in Boardman and library assistant at Brownlee Woods Library. She retired in 2006 from Youngstown State University’s Maag Library with over 20 years of service.
Her most important accomplishment was taking care of her family. Gloria is survived by her husband, John; daughters, Christine (Troy) Rhoades and Michele (Frank) Bova; grandchildren, Maria and Geno Bova; and sister, Judy (Bob) Pavalko.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Christie “Lux” and Theresa Guerrieri.
Family and friends may pay their respects 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, at St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Parish, 7345 Westview Drive, Boardman, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m.
Entombment will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to your favorite charity in Gloria’s memory.
The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff and administration at St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center and to Sanctuary Hospice for the kind and compassionate care they provided. A special thank you to all those who have offered a prayer, kind word or deed for Gloria during her illness.
