Glenn M. Beckman Jr. 1961-2025

Born Sept. 18, 1961, in New Castle, Pa., he was the son of Glenn Matthew Beckman Sr. and Beverly Ann Rees Beckman.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Karla Todd Beckman, whom he married April 12, 1997.

A 1979 graduate of Lawrence County Vo-Tech, he furthered his education by attending the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute.

Glenn was employed with Jameson Hospital, where he worked for 33 years.

Glenn had several hobbies and interests, including watching the Food Network and the Hallmark Channel, Formula 1 and Penn State football. He enjoyed painting, being outdoors and grilling, but his greatest joy was family holidays and get-togethers.

He will always be remembered for helping his neighbors and anyone else who needed a helping hand. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish-St. Charles Church in Boardman.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Sydney Nicole Beckman of Boardman; one son, Rees Matthew Beckman of Boardman; two brothers, Scott Beckman and Kevin (Vickie) Beckman, both of New Castle; a special aunt to him, Audrey Kroesen; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; and his faithful dog, Moxie.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.
