Evaughan Boatwright-Cook 1952-2025
FAIRBURN, Ga. — Evaughan Boatwright-Cook, 73, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2025. She passed away peacefully at home, leaving behind a legacy of faith, kindness, laughter and love.
She was born April 30, 1952, in Youngstown, to Governor and Joan Boatwright.
Known for her radiant smile and generous spirit, Evaughan touched countless lives through her soulful cooking, thoughtful gifts and warm hospitality. She never met a stranger and made everyone feel seen and loved.
Tenderly called “Poochie,” “Diva” and “Boaty,” her joyful spirit will forever shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at Murray Brothers Funeral Home, Atlanta, Georgia.
