Donna J. Shovlin 1930-2025

Donna was born April 26, 1930, the daughter of Edward and Roma Phillips Morgan.

She worked in her younger days at Penn Central Railroad in Campbell and, later, as the bookkeeper alongside her husband at Shovlin Construction in its early years.

Donna was a member of St. Angela Merici Church. She loved to play bingo and put together 1,000-piece puzzles.

Her husband, George L. Shovlin, whom she married Nov. 23, 1950, passed away Sept. 10, 2018.

Donna will always be remembered lovingly by her three sons, George (Joanne) of Commack, Paul (Brenda) of Columbiana and Robert of Poland; 12 grandchildren, Paul Jr. (Sara), Nicholas (Denise), Steven, William, Donald (Shannon), David, Danielle, Patrick, Colin, Ian, Sabrina and Christopher; 12 great-grandchildren, Kaylin, Treavin, Brooklynn, Kaitlin, Anna, Nicholas, Hunter, Casen, Tanner, Rocco, Ryder and Dominic; and a brother, Dale Morgan.

Besides her loving husband and parents, Donna was preceded in death by three sons, William, Thomas and Francis; and a sister, Shirley O’Hara.

Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave., Boardman. An 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, at St. Angela Merici Church. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church Saturday for Mass.
