Charles P. Miller Sr. 1940-2025

He was born March 17, 1940, in Barberton, a son of the late Junior R. Miller and the late Ruth Miller.

Charles was employed in building coating plants and served in the military, enlisting in the U.S. Army in 1958. He served 14 months in Vietnam. Recognized for his distinguished service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal; the Driver and Mechanic Badge; Good Conduct Medal with bronze clasp, 2 loops; the Vietnamese Service Medal with two Bronze Stars; and the Expert Rifle and handgun .45 caliber medal.

He was of the Christian faith.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Erika Miller, and his dearly loved dog, Snookie.

Charles was preceded in death by his daughter, Gloria Jean Miller.

There are no services at this time.

Local cremation arrangements were by Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge, with interment arrangements by Lohr and Barb Funeral Home, Parsons, W.Va.

Interment will be on Limestone Mountain in St. George, W.Va.
