Beverly J. Aaron 1952-2025

NEW MIDDLETOWN — Beverly J. Aaron, 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital.

She was born July 18, 1952, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Clair and Betty Loree Buchanan.

She was a homemaker the majority of her life but also worked for several retail stores in the area over the years.

She had a gift for bringing people together and keeping family traditions alive. Every Thanksgiving, she organized and hosted gatherings of 30 or more, making sure everyone had a seat at the table and plenty to eat. She loved family get-togethers, laughter and the simple joy of being surrounded by those she loved.

An excellent cook, she was known for her unforgettable meals — especially her wedding soup and manicotti, which were always family favorites. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, where she poured her love into every dish she made.

Her faith was the foundation of her life. As a devoted member of Highway Tabernacle, she trusted in the Lord through every challenge and blessing. That faith guided her as she lovingly cared for her father, husband and sister, giving of herself without hesitation.

More than anything, she cherished her family. She loved playing kickball with her children, making hot chocolate after snowball fights, and spending time with her sisters and grandchildren. Selfless and kindhearted, she always put others first, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith and togetherness.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Michelle (Tony) Cerbus of Youngstown, Amy McKnight of Phoenix, Arizona, and Kim (Jim) Laing of Youngstown; grandchildren, Daniel, Brandon, Kyle, Adam, Andrew, Kiersten, Kaylee and Makayla; and her two sisters, Carol DiRocco and Diane Buchanan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mark Aaron, whom she married Sept. 25, 1973, and who passed away July 1, 2013, and a sister, Ruth Srock.

Friends will be received from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland, followed immediately by a funeral service beginning at noon and celebrated by Pastor Duane Bull.

She will be laid to rest with her husband in Lake Park Cemetery.
