Steve Telegraphis 1935-2025

He was born May 21, 1935, and proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Following his service, Steve worked in a steel mill in Pennsylvania before beginning a long and dedicated career with General Motors, from which he retired after 30 years.

Steve was a devoted family man who found joy in spending time with his loved ones. He will be deeply missed by those who survive him: Brad (Nel) Telegraphis, Daniel Chatfield, David Chatfield, Cheri, Don, Ambriel, Elijah, Gracelon, Brooklin, Jaelyn, Bob, Amanda, Hope, Rian, Jeremiah, Jonah, Punky and girlfriend, Lois.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Ruth Wick Telegraphis; and his son, Steven B. Telegraphis.

Family and friends may call 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave., with a funeral service to follow at 10:30 a.m.

Steve’s memory will be cherished always by those who knew and loved him.
