Patricia Jean Palowitz 1947-2025

She was born May 28, 1947, in Youngstown. She was a 1966 graduate of Struthers High School and went on to get her LPN from Choffin School of Practical Nursing in 1968.

She worked at Southside Hospital for many years and then for the Cafaro Hospital (formerly Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital). After she retired, she worked for Dr. Economus.

Her granddaughters were the greatest joy of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them. She also had a deep love for music, whether listening to her favorite songs, dancing along to the rhythm or proudly watching her son play the drums. Autumn, with its crisp air and colorful beauty, was her favorite season, a time she looked forward to each year with warmth and happiness.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, John Palowitz III of Hubbard; her granddaughters, Lydia Pari Palowitz and Marisa Pari Palowitz; and her former daughter-in-law, DeAnna Palowitz.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John J. Palowitz Jr., whom she married Nov. 25, 1968, and who passed away April 2, 2024.

Per Patricia’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. She will be cremated.
