Norma C. Wall 1929-2025

NEW MIDDLETOWN — Norma C. Wall, 95, formerly of Hubbard, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025, at Masternick Memorial Health Care Center.

Norma was born Dec. 20, 1929, in Youngstown, a daughter of Charles and Sophia Zeisler.

She was a 1948 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and then went to nursing school at the Youngstown Hospital Association, graduating in 1952.

After graduation, she worked part time at Sharon Steel in Lowellville as the plant nurse. She later worked for 28 years at Northside Hospital. After her retirement, she worked for Dr. Abdul Ghanni and Dr. Smith at their private practice office.

Norma was a member of Hubbard Church of the Nazarene.

She met her husband, George William Wall, on a blind date, and they married April 9, 1952. He passed away Dec. 8, 1988.

Norma will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family: her children, Kevin W. (Carol) Wall of Westerville, Robin D. (Becky) Wall of Poland and Lael L. (Jeff) Hutcheson of Pataskala; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Norma’s proudest moments of her life were putting all three of her children through college. Kevin graduated from Marietta College and went on to get his master’s degree at Case Western Reserve University. Robin graduated from Ohio State University. Lael graduated from Muskingum University and went on to get her master’s degree in computers at the University of Virginia.

She also leaves her sisters, Karen (John) Hudran of New Middletown and Phyllis (Fred) Denton of Columbiana.

Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; her sister, Annetta Quigley; and brothers, infant Bobby Zeisler, Bob Zeisler and Donald Zeisler.

There will be services at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025, with calling hours 10 to 11 a.m., at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.

Norma will be laid to rest in Lake Park Cemetery.
