Mary Jane DePalmo 1929-2025

She was born Sept. 9, 1929, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late John and Bessie Butler Mahoney.

She was a 1947 graduate of Ursuline High School and spent most of her working career at Mahoning Valley Supply. She was a devoted member of St. Charles Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling to every continent with her late husband, Samuel, whom she married in 1957.

Mary Jane leaves several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews to cherish her memory.

Family and friends may call 9 to 9:50 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, at St. Catherine of Sienna Parish-St. Charles Church, 7345 Westview Drive, Boardman, OH 44512, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. G. David Weikart.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Calvary Cemetery.

Material tributes can be made in her memory to the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley, 1300 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Youngstown, OH 44510.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
