Lisa J. West 1960-2025

Lisa was an amazing human being who loved her family and friends. She loved watching her favorite shows on TV, painting, listening to music and doing crossword puzzles.

Lisa spent 25 years caring for the elderly as a nurse at Caprice Health Care. She grew up in Youngstown and spent a portion of her childhood in Campbell. As a child, she was on the school cheer team and was known for her amazing heart while working with others.

Left to cherish Lisa’s beloved memories are her three children, Shanise C. West, Brian K. West and Alicia D. West; three brothers, David A. West, Keith Butler and Kevin Butler; sisters, Denise West-Stone and Juliet Butler; sister-in-law, Tasha Butler; her lifelong friend, Nathaniel McKinney; and the friend who cared for her before passing, Ms. Virginia.

Besides her parents, John Wesley West and Edith L. Butler, she was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny West.

A special memorial service will be 3:45 to 5:45 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Jaylex Center, 2110 Glenwood Ave., Youngstown, OH 44511.

Seating and family condolences will be 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., and fellowship and food with family, 5:45 to 7:15 p.m.
