Gerald J. Mansour 1961-2025

AUBREY, Texas — Gerald “Gerry” Joseph Mansour, 63, formerly of Youngstown, passed away suddenly on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025, at his home.
Gerry was a 1979 graduate of Ursuline High School. He was an accomplished and passionate chef and restaurateur, having managed and owned restaurants and catering businesses over his lifelong career. For several years, he managed The Gatsby in Youngstown and was known for his spectacular tableside service and innovative events.
Gerry was preceded in death by his parents, George Paul Sr. and Constance Chirchiglia Mansour, and brother, Gary Mansour.
He leaves behind with heavy hearts his brothers, George Paul Jr. and Gregg; sisters, Valerie Mansour Allen and husband, Michael, and Vicki Mansour Wining and husband, Dennis; his children, Halie (Andre and Adalai), Taylor (David, Jax and Tripp), Joey and Nick; and many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, many of whom were like family.
Gerry was a loving father and grandfather, a son, a wonderful brother and a caring uncle. He was an amazing man, thoughtful, funny and witty, and one who cared deeply for others and generously shared his boundless enthusiasm for life with all that he met.
We know that you suffer no more earthly pain or concern and that you have died in Christ, and that is where we find our comfort. Rest in God’s eternal peace, Ger.
A memorial service will be held in Youngstown in the near future.
