Dennis S. DiBacco 1950-2025
NEW MIDDLETOWN — Dennis S. DiBacco, 75, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital, surrounded by his family.
Dennis was born March 1, 1950, in Youngstown, a son of Samuel and Agnes Cummings DiBacco.
Dennis was a 1968 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and a lifelong resident of the Youngstown area.
He married the love of his life, the former Richelle M. “Shelley” Marzetti, on June 14, 2003.
Dennis worked in sales for Roth Brothers Heating and Cooling until his retirement in 2015.
He was a member of Christ Community Church.
Dennis enjoyed playing golf and he loved music. He was the lead singer in the 1970s for the band The Citations. He was an avid Notre Dame and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
He truly loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He was known for his backyard pool parties and trips every wedding anniversary and Father’s Day to Geneva-on-the-Lake.
Dennis will be deeply missed and always remembered by his wife, Shelley; his daughters, Debbie DiBacco, Tracy DiBacco-Holden and Mandy (Frankie) DiBacco-Scott, all of Youngstown; his son, Denny DiBacco II of Struthers; a stepson, Jim (Amanda) Clark of Texas; two stepdaughters, Jamie Clark of Struthers and Jessica Clark of Austintown; his brother, Barry (Andrea) DiBacco of Poland; his sister, Debbie (Joe) Mileto of Youngstown; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Stephens, Joey (Christine) Stephens, Kevin (Taylore) Holden, Samantha Holden, Antonio Page, Kennedy Page, DeShawn Vaughn Jr., John Vaughn and Jack Potter; three great-grandchildren, Joey and Louie Stephens, and Aspen Holden; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins whom he loved.
