Delbert M. Hanuschak 1949-2025
LAS VEGAS — Delbert Michael “Del” Hanuschak passed away Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025, in Las Vegas, where he lived for several years.
He was born March 26, 1949, and raised in Youngstown, the son of Margaret Baker Hanuschak and Michael Hanuschak.
Delbert leaves his wife of 53 years, Jeanne Hudson Hanuschak; two daughters, Jennifer and Allison (Raub); son-in-law, Jordan; three grandchildren, Nathan, Alex and Vivian; his sister, Loretta Hanuschak Ekoniak; brother-in-law, Mike; and two nephews, Michael and Nathaniel (deceased).
He was a 1967 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and a mechanical engineering graduate from Youngstown State University.
He retired from General Motors Lordstown, where he worked in the engineering department and as a toolmaker.
He was a lifelong Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast and a great cat dad over the years to seven cats.
