Verna A. Fiore 1933-2025

Born April 11, 1933, in East Brady, Pa., Verna’s life was marked by her deep devotion to her family and her faith.

Verna was the beloved wife of the late Anthony R. Fiore, with whom she shared a profound love and partnership.

She is survived by her sons, Anthony M. Fiore and his wife, Deborah, and Daniel R. Fiore and his wife, Kim; her grandchildren, Lindsay Hume, Daniel Fiore Jr. and Mary Fiore; and great-granddaughters, Riley and Logan Hume. Verna also leaves behind her sister, Virginia DeLuco, and nieces, Cheryl Bianconi and Michelle DeMarco.

Her parents, Antonio and Mary Ann LaRocca; her sister, Vera Bianconi; and her husband, Anthony, predeceased her.

A woman of faith, Verna was devoted to St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Parish.

A private family gathering will be held to honor Verna’s life.

Her memory will forever be cherished in the lives of those she touched.
