Thomas A. Leskosky 1956-2025

Tom was born Jan. 11, 1956, in Youngstown, to Miriam Budesky and Vince Leslie. He graduated from Boardman High School and MCCTC in 1974.

Tom was very outgoing and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He was very knowledgeable about sports and hunting, and he loved playing in local golf leagues. He also enjoyed attending local sporting events, especially for his beloved Crestview Rebels.

Tom loved coaching his boys in baseball. He had a nickname for each player and treated all the boys like his own. He also enjoyed going on hunting trips out West. His favorite place by far was Montana.

A carpenter by trade, he was a member of Carpenters Union Local #171. He worked for Coates Construction for many years and completed many side jobs for people in the community.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Teresa Fitch Leskosky; sons, Joe (Loren) Leskosky and Kyle (Valerie) Leskosky; and the joy of his life, his grandson, Liam Leskosky, and Liam’s little brother set to arrive in November; and a brother, Vince Leskosky. In addition, he leaves behind his constant sidekick, his dog Bo (Bobo).

Preceding him in death were his mother, Miriam Kohn; stepfather, Mike Kohn; father, Vince Leslie; and two brothers, Mike and Kenny Leskosky.

His family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice Services for the loving and compassionate care he received.

A celebration of life will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2025, at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
