Susan Rusbacky 1943-2025
MASURY — Susan Rusbacky, 82, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 6, 2025, at UPMC Jameson in New Castle, Pa.
Susan was born Feb. 24, 1943, in Palmer, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late John and Celinda Jasen.
She was a graduate of Liberty High School. She married the love of her life, John Rusbacky, in April 1967 and began their family together.
She was a member of the Church of Notre Dame.
She enjoyed gardening, traveling to train conventions with John and collecting model trains. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Susan will be deeply missed by her loving husband, John Rusbacky; children, Christine Groscost, Monica Becker and Shawn Rusbacky; grandchildren, Christopher and Sara Groscot, Taylor Becker, Alexis “Kista” (Tyler) VanDenburgh and Sebastion Rusbacky; and her sister, Judy Jasen.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Jasen.
Family and friends may visit 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025, at the Church of Notre Dame, 2325 Highland Road, Hermitage, Pa. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at noon Tuesday at the church.
