Sharon Roby-Moore 1954-2025

YOUNGSTOWN — Sharon A. Roby-Moore, 71, of Youngstown, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Hospice of the Valley, Hospice House.

Born May 28, 1954, in Youngstown, Sharon was the daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret Bowser Tesyk. She was a lifelong resident of the area and worked as a cashier for Dairy Mart, where she was known for her friendly smile and kind heart.

Sharon found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching the Game Show Network, cheering on her beloved Cleveland Indians and spending cherished time with her family — especially her grandchildren.

A talented home cook, Sharon was best known for her famous macaroni and cheese and for hosting memorable Thanksgiving dinners. She also adored her cat, Leo, who was her constant companion.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Ann Sweeney of Struthers; her brothers, William (Ruth) Tesyk of Poland and Andrew Tesyk of Boardman; her grandchildren, Chris, Dylan, Andrew, Mikayla and Jess; her nephew, David (Bailey) Sweeney of Struthers; her niece, Kelly Sweeney of Youngstown; great-nieces and great-nephews, Ensley, Adley, Cohen, Kaleah and Carson Sweeney; and other numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved son, Christopher Roby; her first husband, Cloyce “Woody” Roby; her second husband, David Moore; her great-nephew, Rowan Brandon Sweeney; and her brother-in-law, David Sweeney.

In keeping with her wishes, services were held privately for the family.
