Scott A. Pallo 1973-2025

YOUNGSTOWN — Scott A. Pallo, 51, passed away early Monday evening, Aug. 18, 2025, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 19, 1973, in Youngstown, a son of John E. and Marlene L. Henning Pallo. He was a 1991 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. He then went on to study advertising at Youngstown State University.
After achieving his degree, Scott worked as a media buyer for several years for Empower Media Marketing. Scott was considered a “pop culture” guru, enjoying music, especially The Ramones, Huey Lewis and The News, and The Twist Offs. He was also a gifted musician and especially enjoyed playing the piano. He was an avid dart player and sports fan, always supporting his Cleveland Browns and Guardians.
He made many lifelong friends while working at the Clark Gas Station in Austintown, and he was known for his sharp wit and sense of humor. Scott was quite the prankster as well, even once involving the bomb squad … sorry, Kyle!
He is survived by his mother, Marlene, of Hermitage, Pa.; and two children, Delaney and Jack Pallo, both of Youngstown. Scott also leaves behind two brothers, John (Lissa) Pallo of South Lyon, Michigan, and Mark (Nancy) Pallo of Sharpsville, Pa.; four beloved nieces and nephews, Alison (Austin) Green, Austin Pallo, Jacob (Briana) Pallo and Meredith Pallo; his former wife, Christina Pallo of Boardman; and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
In accordance with the wishes of the family, a private memorial service will be held for Scott at a later date.
Arrangements for Mr. Pallo are being provided by the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave., Austintown. This obituary may be viewed and condolences can be sent by visiting www.lanefuneralhomes.com.
