Patricia L. Massaro 1949-2025

Patty was born July 19, 1949, in Youngstown, daughter of the late William A. and Lena Tombo Gentile.

She was a graduate of Struthers High School and a member of Christ Our Savior Parish-St. Nicholas Church.

Patty worked as a bank teller for several local banks.

Patty was very active at St. Nicholas Church; she was a member of its Altar and Rosary Society, a Eucharistic minister and a reader. She also donated her time at the church festival and enjoyed going on casino trips offered by the church.

Patty is survived by her daughter, Roxanna (Gene) Soltis, with whom she resided; her son, Nicky (Kristen) DePizzo; her sister, Anna Marie Musolino; her brother, Bob (Kandi) Gentile; and one grandchild, Alyssa DePizzo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony F. Massaro, and her brother, Billy Gentile.

Visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, 2025, at the Kirila Funeral Home Inc., Struthers, followed by a memorial service at 7 p.m.

She will be laid to rest in St. John Cemetery.
