Pamela Keener-Vanditti 1983-2025

STRUTHERS — Pamela Keener-Vanditti, 42, passed away Friday morning, Aug. 22, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital, after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Pamela was born April 8, 1983, in Youngstown, a daughter of David Keener and Barbara Walter, and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a 2001 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School.
Pamela worked in retail management for many years, most notably at Charlotte Russe in Boardman, where she built lasting friendships with co-workers and customers alike. More recently, she was employed with Huntington Bank.
Pam had a true gift for making life special. She enjoyed baking and was especially known for her holiday parties, which she planned with care and creativity — Christmas was her favorite time of year. She was also the heart of her family, always the one to organize gatherings “just because,” ensuring everyone had a reason to come together.
She loved playing darts, earning a spot on the Youngstown All-Star Team, where she was recognized as “Most Valuable Pam” (MVPam). Pamela was a social member of AMVETS Post 44, an active member of the Struthers PTO and a proud member of Bridge of Hope Church.
Above all, Pamela’s greatest joy was her family. She poured her heart into raising her children and creating a warm, loving home, filled with laughter, traditions and endless love. Her warmth, creativity and boundless energy touched everyone blessed to know her.
Pam leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Jerome “Jerry” Vanditti Jr., whom she married Sept. 13, 2014; her son, Nathan D. Keener, at home; her daughter, Katherine “Katie” Vanditti at home; her father, David Keener (Donna) of Youngstown; two sisters, Wendy (John) McGonagle of South Carolina and Jamie Keener of Austintown; several cousins and extended family members, including her in-laws, Jerry Vanditti and Nancy and Gary Powell; and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Walter, and her grandparents, Loretta and George Hrun, and Joan and David Keener.
Family and friends may call 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, 2025, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, where a funeral service will follow at 6 p.m.
