Mary Jane Green 1937-2025

Born April 5, 1937, in Manchester, Georgia, Mary Jane was the daughter of the late Roy and Mildred Phillips Collier.

She was a graduate of Manchester High School in Georgia. On Feb. 2, 1955, Mary Jane married the love of her life, Ronald J. Green. Together, they shared 67 beautiful years of marriage until Ron’s passing, Jan. 4, 2022.

A devoted member of Evangel Baptist Church, Mary Jane lived a life centered on faith, family and selfless service to others. She found great joy in gardening, reading and spending time outdoors. Known for her kind heart and nurturing spirit, she was a loving caregiver to many and a cherished “Memaw” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mary Jane is survived by her children, Tim (Debbie) Green of Beaver, Pa.; Tina (Kevin) Baker of Shelby Township, Michigan, and Tracy (Mark) Lucas of Hillsborough, North Carolina. She also leaves behind eight beloved grandchildren, Eric, Brittany, Cassidy, Chad, Cooper, Brendon, Blake and Bailey; as well as 13 great-grandchildren, Leah, Shannon, Abby, Ryleigh, Jack, Joanna, Tate, Raelynn, Violet, Levi, Lennox, Gracie and Tanner. She is also survived by her brother, Roy Collier, of Columbus, Georgia.

A time of visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025, at Evangel Baptist Church, 5248 Southern Blvd., Boardman, OH 44512. Pastor Randy Brunko will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Evangel Baptist Church.
