Marching bands take field as preview to football season shows

Area high schools have set their annual band nights, which serve as a preview for the schools’ marching band shows during the football season.
The hosting schools are listed below, but other bands also participate at each.
The band night season kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Monday at LaBrae’s Viking Stadium, which is hosted by the LaBrae Band Boosters. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and admission is $7, with all proceeds going back into the band program.
Bands to be featured include Champion, Cardinal Middlefield, Windham, Hubbard and LaBrae.
Hubbard will host its band night at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hubbard Memorial Stadium. Gates open at 6 p.m. and tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and students, and free for children under 3.
Bands performing include Hubbard, Campbell Memorial, Brookfield, Champion, Liberty and LaBrae.
