Louis N. Mirich 1945-2025

He was born April 25, 1945, in Lowellville, to Peter and Mary Brinsko Mirich.

Louis was a 1963 graduate of Struthers High School and was in the Navy. He was a self-employed roofer and a bartender at the Jambar.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church on Laird Avenue in Youngstown.

Louis leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Danielle (Thomas) Szczerba and Michelle (Steve) Mirich, both of Youngstown; four grandchildren; and four sisters, Myra Mirich, Elaine Omslaer and Kathrine Mirich, all of Youngstown, and Delores Pavlic of Florida.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Mike, Peter, George, Steve and John Mirich; and three sisters, Helen Morgan, Margie Obenauf and Mary Ann Berick.

Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, 2025, at Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home.

On Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025, there will be a calling hour from 10 to 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church in Youngstown with a funeral Mass to follow at 11 a.m.

Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home handled all of the arrangements for the family.
