Jacob T. Sloan 2008-2025
MASURY — Jacob Taren Sloan, 17, died Saturday afternoon, Aug. 9, 2025, at his home.
He was born March 28, 2008, in Youngstown, a son of James S. Sloan and Mary E. Balestrino.
Jacob enjoyed riding motorcycles and four-wheelers, and gaming was his life.
He leaves his mother, Mary E. Balestrino of Masury; his father, James S. (Wendy Strainic) of Windsor; a sister, Adonia (Mike Irvin) Balestrino of Warren; an uncle, Michael De la Court of Brookfield; paternal grandparents, Marilyn and Jim Sloan; and maternal grandparents, Linda and Lynn De la Court.
Jacob was preceded in death by his aunt, Robin Huber.
A celebration of Jacob’s Life will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025, at the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home.
