Gionni A. Jackson 2022-2025

STRUTHERS — It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gionni Amillio Jackson, 3, who died unexpectedly, Friday, Aug. 15, 2025.

Gionni was born Aug. 10, 2022, in Boardman, the son of Madison Goodin and Jacob Jackson.

A spirited little soul, Gionni was wise beyond his years, whose fearless nature knew no bounds. He was not only excited about his upcoming role as big brother to his soon-to-be sister, Milani, but also cherished every moment spent playing with his cousins, making memories of joyful playtime and shared adventures.

His interests were as vibrant as his personality; like any typical little boy, Gionni found joy in all things adventurous — from dinosaurs and sharks to zombies and balloons. Each of these things brought him immense happiness.

While Gionni’s time on this Earth was brief, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Gionni was surrounded by a loving family who will miss him dearly. He leaves behind his devoted parents, Madison Goodin and Jacob Jackson, who cherished him deeply, along with doting grandparents, Kelly Goodin (Robert Giovani), Jason Murzda (Traci Whitacre), Melody Cruz and Kenny Jackson; great-grandparents, Ron Ebert, Mark and Amanda Brown, Antonio and Sue Cruz, and Bob and Sherry Giovanni; aunts, Dominique (Frank) Perrotta, Breanna Wilson, Tori Murzda, Riley Goodin, TatiiAhna Robinson and Sasha Jackson; uncles Kennody Jackson, R’Manii Robinson and Gio Giovanni; and his cousins, Serena and Travis Perrotta.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Maryann Ebert, Joan and Lee Goodin, Rosario and Ethal Cruz, and Alice Gigax; and his uncle, Kory Jackson.

A Mass celebrating Gionni’s life will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, at Holy Family Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the family.
