Dennis L. Amon 1939-2025

Dennis was born Nov. 10, 1939, in Youngstown. He graduated from South High School in 1958 and married his high school sweetheart, Marian K. Hartman, on May 14, 1960, at Calvary Baptist Church in Youngstown. Marian preceded him in death on April 27, 2014, just weeks before their 54th wedding anniversary.

Dennis was proud to serve his country in the United States Army and dedicated much of his life to law enforcement, working with the Boardman Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service in U.S. Federal Courts.

He is survived by his son, Mark (Janine); his daughter, Lynda Monroe; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
