Darlene J. Lyons 1944-2025

She was born Dec. 11, 1944, in Youngstown, the daughter of Perry and Bertha Tressler McBride.

Darlene enjoyed collecting teapots, listening to Elvis, and most especially, spending time with her family.

Her husband, Merwin C. Lyons, whom she married July 20, 1981, passed away Aug. 3, 2004.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Marlene (Sam) Febo, Cheryl (Jan) Lesnak and Joseph Mazy; sister, Judith Salman; grandchildren, Steven Lesnak, Samuel Febo Jr., Stephanie (Michael) Schragal, Kelly Lesnak and Samantha (Nathaniel) LaMantia; and great-grandchildren, Logan and Greyson.

Darlene was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Mazy, and sister, Patricia Salman. Friends may call 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025, at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m., officiated by the Rev Grey Calko.

Darlene will be laid to rest with her family in Lake Park Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
