Christa D. Flesher 1972-2025

Christa was born Jan. 16, 1972, in Youngstown, a daughter of Thomas DePoy and Helena Mumaw DePoy.

She was a 1990 graduate of Ursuline High School and went on to earn her associate degree in accounting from ITT Technical Institute.

Christa married the love of her life, Michael Flesher, on Oct. 28, 2007.

She made her home in Louisville for the past 20 years, where she worked as an accountant for BJAAM Environmental.

Christa is of the Catholic faith.

Christa enjoyed life. She never missed the Canfield Fair, caring for her family, going to concerts, car shows, and spending time with her niece and nephew, family and friends.

Christa will be deeply missed and always remembered by her husband, Michael; her brother, Tom DePoy; her sister-in-law, Anjanette; her nephew, Thomas Jr.; and her niece, Grayce.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents and her fur babies.

Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025, at the Kubina-Yuhasz-Wasko Funeral Home in Boardman, and again 10 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., officiated by Pastor Josh Garber.

Christa will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to Hospice of the Valley.
